2.2 Risks not covered in the optional cover
Cover for total permanent disability, described in article 1.C.1, does not cover risks or events caused by:
a. self-inflicted injuries, attempted suicide, drunkenness or use of drugs and non-prescribed medicines.
b. Horse-racing, motorbike racing, car racing, mountain climbing, rock-climbing, caving, underwater diving at more than 25 metres, delta-wing, bungee-jumping, ultralight flying or flying in any similar machine, parachute jumping not required by situations in flight and any other kind of sport or activity that represents, due to its danger, a risk to the personal physical wellbeing of the insured.
c. Wounds or injuries made by the insured on him / herself, or by the beneficiary of the policy.
d. Illnesses or accidents due to alcoholism, use of drugs and non-prescribed medicines.
e. Consequences of dangerous acts or negligence on the part of the insured, once confirmed legally, along with those consequences due to active participation in crimes, duels or fights, unless the fight was in self-defence or due to saving people or property.
f. Accidents caused by earth tremors, volcanic erruptions, flooding and other unusual seismic or meteorological activity .
g. The consequences of illness or accidents dating from before the start of this insurance cover and that were known but not declared by the insured on the health declaration.
h. Traffic accidents affecting the insured as a motorcycle rider, or riding mopeds or motorised bicycles with engines over 125 cc.
i. Risks not covered in all those set out in article 2.1
